How-To Guides

As soon as you sign up for VoxOx and activate your VoxOx phone number, you have VoxOx On the Go™. This means that you can access to our super cheap international rates, VoxOx Call Connect™, Find Me and other cool features – no Internet access or software required.

VoxOx On the Go features are enhanced with the VoxOx software download, but if you just need to make some cheap international calls, give this a try!

Here’s how it works…

Getting Started

  1. If you haven’t already, save your own VoxOx phone number as “VoxOx” in your mobile phone. (Tip: You should also by now have a contact saved as “VoxOx Call Connect” from the SMS verification process. If you don’t, please associate “VoxOx Call Connect” with 1-323-335-5555. More on this later…)
  2. When accessing the VoxOx On the Go service via phone you will need to enter a four digit PIN number. The default PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. To change your PIN, dial your own VoxOx number, press the star (*) key, enter the default PIN, followed by the pound (#) key. Then, select 6 for “Settings,” option 3 to set your PIN.
  3. If you’re not planning to download the VoxOx desktop software, you’ll need to indicate at least one phone (e.g., your cell phone) where you’d like to receive VoxOx calls. This step is also necessary if you’d like to use any of our inbound calling or voicemail features. (Tip: If you download the desktop software, you’ll also be able to receive calls on your computer.) You can do this either by calling your own VoxOx number or online at my.voxox.com.

Online: Visit http://my.voxox.com, log in with your username and password, select Settings.

OR:

By Phone: Dial your own VoxOx phone number, press star (*) key, enter your PIN followed by pound (#). Press option 6 for Settings, and select option 1 for Find Me. (Tip: Enter your number as if you’re calling it from the U.S.)

If you need to make any further changes to your account details/preferences or purchase credit, you can do so at my.voxox.com. Log in with your VoxOx username and password.

That’s it! Now you can use VoxOx On the Go. Read on to learn more about what you can do.
