Use your own cell phone to call overseas for cheap.
Or talk VoxOx-to-VoxOx on your computer for free!
VoxOx offers custom and local phone numbers through our virtual numbers offering as well as free global access numbers, known as iNum. Both of these items are available at my.voxox.com.
Virtual Numbers (Custom Phone Numbers)
Get a custom or local phone number that you can give out to your friends, family, and/or business contacts, and link up with all your other phones. You can get as many virtual numbers as you want and they’ll all funnel through VoxOx based on your calling preferences.
You can:
- Select numbers from more than 100 area codes in the U.S. and select regions of Canada
- Search for digits and do something slick with your new number – e.g., spell out your initials (Tip: Some cities have more number options than others, but we’re always expanding our inventory)
- Forward your new VoxOx number(s) to your cell phone, home phone, work phone, and other phones via VoxOx Find Me
- Receive not just calls, but also texts and faxes
- Set your new number as your caller ID (or keep any of your other numbers set as your caller ID, if you wish)
Wouldn’t it be nice to add a dedicated local phone number for your family in another state (or Canada!), so they can dial you locally? Or, if you own a small business, to add a bunch of local numbers in the areas your business covers? Or simply to give out a custom number like 1-818-44-JENNY and have it ring you on your cell phone?
And remember, with any VoxOx phone number, you have access to all our inbound and outbound calling features, voicemail and on-call options.
Each custom phone number costs $19.95 per year. Get yours today!
iNum (Global Access Numbers) – FREE!!
Do you live outside of the U.S.? Do you have family or friends who live outside of the U.S.? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you may want a global access number.
Dubbed “iNum” (for “international number”), this free VoxOx offering enables those who live outside of the U.S. to call your VoxOx number at their local rates.
How does it work? The concept is similar to a calling card.
Say your sister in Argentina wants to call your U.S. VoxOx number, but doesn’t want to pay long distance charges. With this free offering, she can dial a special Argentine phone number and then enter your personal iNum code to complete the phone call. Her call then gets routed to your VoxOx account, and then forwards on to any other numbers you’ve set up in your call forwarding settings – perhaps your cell phone.
So, in the end — she pays for a local call, and you pay nothing! And, like all other VoxOx numbers, you get access to our inbound, on-call and voicemail features.
