About the Guest

Kerri Pomarolli, a standup comedian, motivational speaker, veteran actress, author, and supermodel mom! Kerri lives in LA with her two daughters. Kerri has been on the path to stardom since she was a child, and at just age 11 was well on her way to becoming a professional dancer when she was diagnosed with scoliosis. She underwent painful treatments, which eventually culminated in spinal fusion surgery. She could now live a normal life, but her dreams of a dance career were over. Devastated but determined, young Kerri got out the phone book and called the local theater company. She auditioned and was cast in the lead role of Mary Tilford in Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour.

In her 20s, Kerri pursued the Hollywood dream of landing the one role that would make her famous and leave her feeling fulfilled. But she soon learned that the pursuit of a star on, Hollywood's Walk of Fame was not worth compromising her standards. She decided to enter the world of standup comedy so she would have the ability to create her own content and share stories and messages to inspire and bring joy to h&r audiences.

Since then, she has become one of the most sought-after comedians in the country and has shared the stage with Sherri Shepherd of The View, Jim Carrey, Jay Leno, Carol Channing, and many others. Kerri is also an accomplished actress, with credits that include 29 appearances on NBC's The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, and recurring roles on Port Charles, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless. Currently, you can see her on Nick at Nite's Moms Night Out and on the popular web series MOMLAND which has a viewership of 42 million. Her film credits include starring in the award-winning documentary, Hollywood on Fire with Pat Boone, and La La Land which premiered in NYC and LA. Kerri appears in the recently released and critically acclaimed documentary American Jesus, and her latest film The Brennan Manning Story is currently on Netflix.

Kerri is also a popular speaker and is frequently engaged for fundraisers, faith-based events, women's conferences, and corporate clients like Ford Motor Company and Cisco Systems. She's hosted the GMA Awards and headlined the red-carpet launch for the prestigious California Women's Conference, with more than 20,000 in attendance.

Kerri says her greatest joy is using the gift of humor to bring laughter to others and lessons she's learned along the way. She loves to watch as her audience is filled with hope as they laugh with her about her own mishaps and adventures in life.

In addition to acting and speaking, Kerri is also an accomplished author. Currently, Kerri has two books on the Amazon bestseller’s list – Confessions of a Proverbs 32 Woman and She Rises Late and Her Kids Make Her Breakfast devotional for the Proverbs 32 Woman. Her other published books include How to Ruin Your Dating Life and Guys Like Girls Named Jennie, which is currently being considered for a major motion picture. Her book Moms' Night Out and Other Things I Miss is a funny and encouraging book inspired by the released hit feature film, by the same name, with Sean Astin. Kerri also just launched a podcast with her 13-year-old
daughter, Lucy, This Is Not A Good Idea – new episodes release every Wednesday.
